Sponsors Update

The holidays are already a distant memory, and all focus has now turned to the 2026 season here at Outlaws HQ. We had our first training session of the year on the 11th Jan and we’re all starting to count the days until the return of the competitive season.

Since the formation of the team in April 2025, the ambition has always been to enter multiple teams into the BBF league setup. Ensuring fair gametime for everyone, most importantly at a level suitable for them has been a key club aim.

After a few short weeks it was reasonably clear to us that the demand was there to sustain multiple teams. However, the limiting factor has ultimately been the club bank account. As any committee member of a British baseball team will tell you, it’s not cheap to run a club! Balancing field hire alongside equipment purchases, all whilst keeping the monthly training fees at a reasonable level is a challenge that all teams face.

Equipment purchases have been by far our biggest expense, accounting for 44% of our total expenditure in the first 9 months.

This is where our sponsors have made such a huge difference. Without their support, we simply would not have been able to enter two teams into the league for the 2026 season. Their help has directly enabled us to take this next step as a club.
